Stumbled upon this track during an iTunes shuffle session. I forgot how good Jennifer John’s first (and only, I think) album, HeavyElectroMagneticSoularPoeticJungleHop was! I briefly DJ’d for her and even though it didn’t work out, I had hella fun and learned alot djing those gigs. I hope she’s doing well and still making music, because she, like MANY Oakland natives, is an amazing artist.
